The Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Department is committed to ensuring a robust and effective curriculum for students in Young Fives through 12th Grade. Our focus is on providing a guaranteed and viable curriculum that aligns with the Michigan Common Core State Standards. We emphasize the development of essential knowledge and critical thinking skills necessary for success in the 21st Century.

Portage Public Schools participates with a variety of Extension and Enrichment programs designed to accelerate, expand, and/or accommodate student learning. Participation in any of the following programs must be pre-approved prior to registration.  Please see your school counselor or principal for more information.
